So could someone try and flag *every* cost of owning your new network as a
research exercise?
Right from partner/practice manager time to meet the salesman and agree the
spec., to added insurance, consumables, time spent listening to fleur elise
on the support line, training staff etc.
That's a paper that would be seriously useful to quote in the reimbursement,
"oh we'll 100% reimburse your server" argument.
Any EMIS lurkers? Can we see your calculations as to the TCO ? :-)
Presumably you have calculated this in order to persuade practices that
there is a sound business argument for spending a large slice of their take
home pay on moving to NT networks!
Or maybe the practices themselves could explain their business model :-) I
can see fundholders splashing out from savings on this, however, what about
those spending their own money? Have the fundholders got any calculations as
to the TCO even if the box is given to them?
You see 13k seems expensive just to get email to my desktop ^..^
