Yup. In my neck of the woods, can involve pretty slippy muddy lanes. Not
quite in the Jel country, I suspect, but pretty treacherous, especially
after harvesting the sugar beet! In winter ain't nuthin' between the
Steppes and the North Sea to stop the wind which blows across the
Eastern Corn Prairies and drifts snow against the only hedges left,i.e
the ones on the left side of the road;).
Having said that, when I first got the Jeep and had my first taste of
snow, feeling very snug, smug and secure, was run into by a sliding truck
and had to get around the rest of the week in the repair shop's courtesy
car, a 1 litre Nissan Micra:-(((

100%. Honest guv. It IS true! I work from home so there is no travelling
to work mileage. With that mpg I can't afford to do any _serious_
travelling! If we're going any distance, I use my wife's Carisma :-(
(0% for tax purposes)

I hear the same...has anyone on the list been picked up on? Or is it an
IR scam to put the frighteners on us?
