Only use top quality Cat 5 cabling
Only use TCP/IP as your networking protocol. Remove all others from all
machines to make them faster
Make emergency disks mandatory, and failing to make them a disciplinary
offence.
And the question - why Win 95??? NT Workstation is vastly superior, much
faster and much more secure.

I am one of 4 partners in a 3 site rural practice.Use EMIS with sites linked
by BT landlines.Work nearly paperless with lab links and scanning hospital
letters.Now looking to network to enable desktop access to PGC
communications, NHS Net and wider use of electronic diary systems (eg
outlook).
EMIS use a windows NT server with a windows 95 network.
Does anyone have any experience/advice/warnings!
