This is getting ridiculous. Your particular version and/or configuration
of Outlook is creating email using the Windows character set. Having
decided to do that it then correctly formats it as a MIME compliant
email. There is nothing intrinsically wrong in that. The problem arises
because neither windows character sets not MIME compliant email
applications are common to all GP-UK subscribers or most other 'English
speaking' mailing lists for that matter. The common sense guideline is
to only use MIME when you know that the recipient's email application is
MIME compliant. I am sure 'Microsoft' are well aware of this. If they
aren't, they shouldn't be writing Internet applications.
