J. Carreras (Barcelona); e-mail : [log in to unmask]
This session is intended to provide a forum of discussion on fault-rocks.
It will address advances in the understanding of fault-rocks, from gouges
to blastomylonites, concerning their mineralogy, P., T., conditions of
formation, structural datas, pressure-solution implications, datings,
geochemistry as well as the use of new techniques.
The aim is to acquire a better understanding in the relationships between
genesis processes and geodynamics.
Contributions will be welcome.
Submission of abstracts : 15th november
Travel grant applications : 15th november
Registration with payment 31st january 1999
The whole program is now on the 10th EUGwebsite (http://eost.u-strasbg.fr/EUG)
