SENIOR RESEARCH OFFICER
INSTITUTE FOR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC RESEARCH, UNIVERSITY OF ESSEX
(incorporating the ESRC Research Centre on Micro-social Change)
Applications are invited for a quantitative social scientist to join
the growing ISER research team for work on income dynamics and related
topics using the British Household Panel Survey and other national and
international surveys.
The successful candidate will have at least a masters degree or
equivalent research experience, and skill and experience in use of
Stata (or SPSS or SAS), and its application to household survey data.
The appointment is full-time for a period of 2 years in the first
instance, commencing 1 January 1999, or as soon as possible thereafter.
The starting salary will be on the Grade RO1A scale for Research
Officers, within the range £15,735 to £23,651 per annum. Informal
