The West Virginia High Technology Consortium Foundation and the Office of
Naval Research cordially invite you to apply for a position as a Conference
Speaker for the Third Annual Virtual Company Conference.
Presentations reflecting commercial and government practices, academic
research and lessons-learned welcomed.

Deadline for Abstract Submittal: January 15, 1998
Notification of Acceptance/Rejection: January 30, 1999
Rules for Abstract Submittal:
Acceptance of an abstract does NOT guarantee acceptance of the presentation
or paper.
Presentations must address all issues proposed in the abstract to be accepted.
All accepted presentations are awarded free admission to the IVCC 99 and a
copy of the conference proceedings.
Abstracts must include the following:
1. Narrative description of topics to be covered in
the presentation.
2. Detailed outline of presentation topics.
3. Detailed biographical information about the speaker including name,
title, affiliation, mailing address, phone, fax and e-mail address.
4. List publications, conference /workshop presentations, honors and
awards.
Guidelines for abstracts and presentations
1. Do not include company specific acronyms unless defined.
2. Must not promote any service or product.
3. Presentations do not have to be original to the
conference, existing
presentations may be used.
4. Presentations should be no less than 30 minutes and
no more than 1 hour 30 minutes in length.
5. Each speaker will be asked to participate in a panel discussion
following the general session in which he/she participated.
