there will be readings / gentle and deranged performances by
SAM BRENTON a young writer whose book TELEPHONE VOICES is shortly to
appear from Peter Riley's Poetical Histories series, who is at present in
the throes of expelling a new literary magazine in London, who has
appeared in and directed several plays here in Cambridge over the past few
years, who has managed quite expertly to go almost entirely unnoticed by
the COMMUNITY of interested persons hereabouts and elsewhere, come see him
JEREMY HARDINGHAM juvenile terrorist and perpetrator of plays including
INCARNATE (the life of Jesus Christ) and AND YET BUT STILL JUST THIS (the
life of a well-lit blackout), also director of a King Lear which drew a
commendatory ode from Prynne and of my own Hate's Clitoris, he's hectic
throughout and a drinker of noble capacity, is bound to do something worth
watching and from which to recoil
post performance civilities will, this time, be particularly robust
