Simple. If you live as I do, outside the United States or the UK, and you
have
no way of getting such books other than at very large mark-ups, you can go
through amazon, and get the book at a discount which makes up for the
postage charges. If, as I suspect, Georgia UP's publications in the UK are
well-nigh illusory, amazon is a practical route. No more, no less. In any
event I've ordered it, and it comes in at $12.76 plus postage, and I should
have it within a week.
By the way, I happily use Peter's services very frequently, and will
continue to do so. I also order direct from publishers (as I would in the
case of the Reality Street book mentioned in your posting), but that is not
an option in the case of Georgia UP.
