George,
A new form - certainly. But Linda Crespi's piece, _Mutability_, is the
only example i have seen apart from my own efforts.
I've been experimenting with MS Internet Explorer's <marquee> feature
for some time and have 3 finished animated texts (one of which uses a
text by Morning Glory) at:
http://www.btinternet.com/~debris/go/auto/animate/animate.html
You may also be interested in:
http://www.btinternet.com/~debris/go/auto/analytic/analytic.html
which is another example of the use of the <marquee>. Messing around
with these things makes me wish i could get hold of half a dozen, or
even one, of those programmable scrolling electronic signs one sees in
hospital waiting rooms and other public places.
These animated pieces and other experiments, poems, texts, etc, can be
found at my remade/updated website, addresses below.
Regards,
Steve
