- thanks to nicholas for delurking on this, I certainly know the
situation: all my attempts at accents degenerate into comic welsh in
seconds. And after years living in the North East I once gave what I
thought was a passable impression of a Tyneside speech, to be told [insert
correct accent] "Why no man, that's Blackhall." Last time I tried that.
