Nostalgia time again. Vol 35:3 "A Tribute to Michael Hamburger" was the
last I received, just about on time (as with the previous issue it
features new work by Christopher Middleton). They acknowledge financial
support from the Po-Shing Woo Foundation for the Arts, whatever that is,
since they lost their Arts Council grant.
"Crusty", but where I first read Bunting's "Postume" & "Stones trip
Coquet burn"; David Miller - poems & a review of Guy Davenport; essays
by Kenneth Cox on MacDiarmid etc. Maybe Peter Dale derailed it when he
was associate editor.
Issues have often been delayed partly due to Wm Cookson's health, I
understand.
Cheers, Pete.
