Hello British-Poets
I am a small-time poet with a wide-ranging interest in modern British
poetry. I also run a poetry web-site called The Self-help Poetry Kit,
which subscribers might like to visit at http://www.poetrykit.org/. At
the end of this message is a brief blurb about the site.
I am just now beginning the process of trying to raise funds to develop
this project into something exiting (see /editorial/leader.htm). The
first thing I discover is that fund-giving bodies prefer to work with
organisations rather than individuals. SO, if anyone out there is
interested in collaborating in a non-profit-making service to the poetry
world, I'd be glad to hear from you.
Regards
Ted Slade
The Self-help Poetry Kit is a World Wide Web site designed to aid new
and developing poets by providing a single source of information and
discussion on the craft of writing poetry. It provides listings of
recommended reading of the 'How-to..' type, courses and schools,
workshops, markets, a bookshop, links to other poetry sites on the
Internet, and a 'talking wall' on which visitors can read and leave
messages.
Visit The Self-help Poetry Kit at http://www.poetrykit.org/
This is a non-profit making project by a poet who has been
down the same road and wishes to pass on some directions to others.
