a young poet from hereabouts, who reads for the first time from
smart and aware, frank and satiric work of high metrical and
lexical fine-tuning
JOHN WILKINSON
a less young poet partly from elsewhere, whose just renown
satisfies me that I need only add to the great general praise of
his work by going on record to say, that I think it even better
than its great general praise would have me advertise
Readings will be followed as usual by gross overflow of shandy /
interested dispute and comment etc, £1.50 to cover the cost of the poets'
transports
