Dear Sirs,
in a large epidemiological study we have the necessity to discriminate
different types of missing values e.g "no answer", "illegible",
"implausible", "not applicable" etc.
As the SAS software can define different types of missings only by using a
dot and a letter (e.g. .x) we want to code our missings in this style. Are
there any (international) standards to do this?
Thanks in advance
D. Alte
