Lectureship in Statistics, University of Bristol
Candidates with research interests in any branch of
applied probability or statistics are invited to apply
for a Lectureship in Statistics in the Department of Mathematics
tenable from 1 January 1999 or a date to be arranged.
The person appointed will be expected to carry out both research
and teaching to an excellent standard; with this in mind
the teaching load will be relatively light, especially
in the first instance.
The Department offers a stimulating environment with
first-rate facilities.
The salary will be on the Lecturer A scale initially
(currently 16,366 - 21,436 pounds p.a., rising in October 1998).
