BAYESIAN MODELLING JOB
A six month position is available to develop a Bayesian model of the risks and uncertainties associated with natural toxicants in food.
The project is a joint collaboration between the Department of Risk Research at the Veterinary Laboratories Agency (VLA) in Surrey and the Institute of Food Research (IFR), Norwich. The successful candidate will be based at both institutes.
The position is for six months in the first instance with the possibility of extension.
Applicants should have a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a similar discipline. A post-graduate qualification would be an advantage. Knowledge of Bayesian modelling is desirable.
