We notify the SLC immediately of withdrawals but the list we received
contained the names of such students. So we are in effect doing the same
task twice.
The regulations to which the SLC letter refers do not (unless I have missed
the section) require us to certify that a student is in attendance (though I
understand that this will be a requirement from next year) but to inform the
company of students who have withdrawn from, abandoned or been expelled from
their course or are absent from the course.
As we record the loan reference number on computer it was easy to produce a
list of withdrawals in number order and check these few against the names on
the list. I would, therefore, wish to continue to receive a list in loan
number order.
