At University of Hull we started to use Syllabus Plus
for producing examination timetables about a year and a
half ago.
Having the experience of the Syllabus Plus teaching
timetabling software, we managed to implement the exam
scheduling system very quickly.
Since we started to use Syllabus Plus we managed to totally
avoid late afternoon and Saturday sessions; we only have
two examination sessions a day. The total number of
students with two exams a day is between 65 and 75 (out of
6500); they are mainly exchange students, language and
other students with unique module combinations.
