Hi Corey,
you have very colorful surroundings there near your office. You always
welcome to come and visit here in the summer or any other time. I had to
laugh reading about your place there. What exotic surroundings. I'll bring
my camera crew in December when I get finished with my getting to be boring
contracts.
I don't know if patriarchy is the same as male dominance. In the army and in
the priest hood, males dominate by sheer numbers, in terms of political and
justice institutions most are not only dominated by men but also by thinking
that is considered patriarchal. Incidentally the Nishga elder women refer to
themselves as Matriarchs in the tribal systems of New Ayansh near Hazelton.
There needs to be a balance therefore since a Patriarch could be someone
who is considerate. Me I am an Anarchist and have no reason to be a
patriarchal supporter of male dominated institutions. I am always butting my
head up against institutions some times with results - sometimes with
headaches after. Need to grow a full 3/4 curl.
To me to be masculine is to be whole in my being. Not to be led around by
the nose by other men. To be my own man, not a ladies man, nor man's man.
Somewhat growed up from a mere lad of nine or less! I could handle twelve
though - all good years.
The best year of being a lad.
