LIBRARIES WITHOUT NUMBER II
Qualitative Research in Library and Information Services
Centre for Social Anthropology and Computing
University of Kent at Canterbury
30th September 1998
***********************************************************************
In April 1997 the first Libraries Without Number conference was held at
the University of Kent. The conference papers were published as a
special issue of Education for Information (15(4) December 1997) edited
by Dr David Zeitlyn and Jane Bex. Those who attended the conference
showed a high level of interest in making this an annual event so we
have decided to run it for a second year.
The conference will explore the contribution and application of
qualitative research methods to the field of Library and Information
Services and is based in the Centre for Social Anthropology and
Computing at the University of Kent at Canterbury. The conference
programme and registration form are given below or are available on the
Web at <http://lucy.ukc.ac.uk/Blerbs/>. Please complete and return the
registration form by email, post, fax to the addresses given or via the
Web.
