UNIVERSITY OF PLYMOUTH LIBRARY REFURBISHMENT - Summer '98
The improvement of the Plymouth library will continue over the
summer with the refurbishment of the Bottom floor. The project will
start on 20 June 1998 and the Bottom floor will be closed to users from
3.30 p.m. on 19 June 1998.
Computing, engineering and architecture materials which are normally situated on the
bottom floor will be unavailable whilst it is boxed up for the move into
temporary storage from 20 - 27 June. Unfortunately we WILL NOT BE ABLE
TO MEET ANY ILL REQUESTS FOR ENGINEERING, COMPUTING AND
ARCHITECTURE MATERIALS DURING THE SUMMER PERIOD.
Whilst library staff will operate a limited daily collection service for requested
items, YOU ARE ADVISED NOT TO SEND STUDENTS WHO WISH TO
USE ANY ENGINEERING, COMPUTING AND ARCHITECTURE ITEMS
to the Plymouth library.
The Bottom floor is due to re-open for use by Monday 21 September. We hope
that the refurbishment will improve the study environment in the Library, and we
apologise for any inconvenience caused during the project.
