perspectives from the academic sector

This event provides an opportunity for information professionals to
learn more about information strategy in the context of libraries and
information services. Although focusing on the academic sector, it will be
of interest to all information professionals wanting to find out more about
creating and implementing an information strategy for their organisation.
Speakers:
Ann Hughes (JISC Information Strategies Co-ordinator) will talk
about how to create an Information Strategy
James Currall (Glasgow University Computing Service) will talk about
Glasgow University's experiences of implementing an information strategy
using the JISC Guidelines.
Refreshments will be available and there will also be the
opportunity for informal discussion.
