A new senior lecturer post has been created in the Department of
Public Health Sciences to promote teaching and research in
epidemiology. This full-time post is open to clinical and non-
clinical applicants and is tenable for five years in the first
instance.
The Department has an active programme of research into the
epidemiology of respiratory, allergic and cardiovascular diseases,
and is developing new initiatives in primary care epidemiology and

epidemiologist to strengthen research in one or more of these
areas, and to assist with undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
The successful candidate is likely to have a higher degree in

considered before completion of specialist training.
