Apologies for cross-posting.
We have just received the request for data from the Sunday Times, and
wonder as to why they appear to be going over much the same ground as
the Times before them. Anyway, enough said about THAT ... !
We are concerned at the problems of data getting into the public domain
that is still going thorugh final validation, HESA submission etc. As
a solution we have considered just quoting figures on students etc as
per the already published 1996/97 HESA Reference Volumes. What do other
institutions think - I agree its not the most up to date, but at least
the figures are (relatively) indisputable!
