Management here at Norwich City College are about to undertake a review
of administrative services, including the Library. The aim (inevitably!)
is to reduce the staffing budget, and management consultants Bentley
Jennison have been hired to audit all administrative activity, with a
view to producing a plan of action by the end of January.
We believe Bentley Jennison have done similar staffing audits in other
FE colleges. We would appreciate it if colleagues in any institutions
who have been subject to their review, could share experiences with us.
What were the outcomes of their review, for example; were there any
pitfalls or peculiarities in their survey methods we should look out
for?
