Newsletter 4 times a year.
2 issues of Poetry and Little Press Information twice a year.
Book fairs.
Book fairs died a death and we are going to get them going again.
PALPI hasnt appeared for a while. The last issue under the old editorship
comes out in Sep/Oct and then the 1998 issues can appear!
There is to be a new format with articles etc - concentrating on publishing
issues, circulation issues etc
The newsletter similarly is concerned with how to function as a little press
We support and give advice to little presses and perhaps most importantly
help them exchange info
The response to ALP's _resurrection_ has been encouraging and I am keen for
it to be getting into almost anything that we can get it into
Adrian Clarke, who is on the point of moving, is going to be doing
fund-raising / grant applying for us as soon as he has moved
there is a start at a web site - which can be used almost immediately for
the new purposes
there is a project for a web based mail order system started by paul green
paul has stepped down as the newsletter editor - stan trevor has stepped
down as palpi editor - contact me now re these functions
must rush
all best

Either one of the bigger poetry presses should be
|approached, or there could be cooperation between Brit and US publishing.
|Lawrence Upton's comments on ALP also very timely -- I don't know much
about
|their current activities, actually -- ex-pat, you see.
