Do enjoy the recommending of poets on this list. I look with favor upon
those who post their verses or sampling of verses from recently published
books.
Not because I look to endorse the poems or poets. Or take exception with
them. Rather because I wish to encounter the state of their language.
Accepting that language is a living thing. Eats and breathes. Flies and
flits. Its cohabitation with the reader in the wild of verses. That strange
unexplored country of poetry which each poet visits, knowing they risk much
to gain so little.
"Mad minds sing sweetest ---
be it well known
victory comes to the defeatist.
Poetry take the throne."
