Hi lis-elibbers
Subsequent to my e-mail message of yesterday
I have been deluged with offers of reviewers.
I have arranged one now so to save me having to send of
another "thanks but no thanks" message I'm letting you all know
on one fall swoop that its gone.
However, there is a silver lining. To save me sending off
the relavant bit of the Call for Papers relating to the special
feature (which I've now done quite a few times to quite a few
intersting sounding people) I'm sending that out once again in one
fall swoop.
....In the 1998 Issue 1 JILT will include a special feature on The
Citizen in The Information Society - Legal Issues From the
Perspective of the Citizen with Guest Editor Professor Peter Blume.
This issue will discuss whether we are developing a good information
society and whether the legal rules currently enacted meet the individual
needs. In particular, it will cover topics such as processing personal data,
access to public information, use of copyright material, database protection
as a barrier for citizens, electronic democracy, secure Internet messages and
direct mail. In addition, JILT welcomes book reviews, conference reports,
software reviews and demos in these issues.
Again if interested please contact me directly for further details
if you need them.
Best wishes - Hope you all have a great Christmas
and a Happy Hogmanay when it comes :-)
Nicola
