A few weeks ago I was one of the judges in the second Charlesworth Awards
for electronic journals, and on 27 November gave the judges report at the
awards ceremony, during an ALPSP meeting.
The winner was EMBO Journal Online, published by Oxford University Press
(http://www.embo.org/) and designed and put together by HighWire Press of
Stanford University Library.
Highly Commended was the BMJ, published by the British Medical Association
(http://www.bmj.com).
Personally I was particularly pleased that for the second year running an
eLib journal featured in the awards. Sociological Research Online,
published by the Sociological Research Online Consortium based at the
University of Surrey, won a special mention
(http://www.socresonline.org.uk/socresonline).
