>From the work I've done handling data within the SuperJournal project, it has
become apparent that being able to distinguish between an author's surname and
firstnames is often important. But from what I've so far seen of Dublin Core,
a scheme for splitting a name hasn't been specified. It can be quite difficult
to parse a name to distinguish between forenames and surname (eg. Dick van Dyke).
