Yes - the Scout Report gets my recommendation as a good resource. The
Internet Scout <http://scout.cs.wisc.edu/> has been around for some time
and keeps people informed of new Internet resources. The Social Sciences
Scout Report reports on social science sites, it's URL is:
http://scout.cs.wisc.edu/scout/report/socsci/index.html
You can visit their Web pages to keep up to date of new initiatives (other
subject specific reports are available for Science & Engineering and
Business & Economics) but more usefully, you can 'subscribe' and have their
regular reports emailed to you either as text or HTML to mount locally.
Being included in their listings isn't an accolade as such but will do a
lot to publicise your efforts.
Hope this helps those of you who haven't come across this yet...
Best wishes,
Stuart
