Hi Roddy
No the robot is not able to follow forms. It is able to follow
hardcoded links to CGI scripts. For example a page of web usage might
include:
Most poular Hits
<A HREF="http://www.eevl.ac.uk/search?sex">http://www.eevl.ac.uk/search?sex</A>
One of the plans for webwatch futures is to "shrink wrap" the software
and make it available to the information gateway community so that they
could use it to trawl resources they have catalogued. This might be
useful for monitoring HTML "quality".
