Is there anyone out there with some expertise, experience, or interest
in the medieval French Cistercian abbey of Loos? I'm trying to decide
whether an in-depth study of the library catalogue of Loos would be a
feasible topic for my Master's thesis. I have Sanderus' catalogue and
the entry in Bondeelle-Soucier's book, but other possibilities for
sources appear to be somewhat tricky. Does anyone have access to
Spriet's "Loos, ses abbes, ses seigneurs" (Lille, 1898) or any works
by LeGlay (i.e. "Catalogue descriptif des manuscrits de la
bibliotheque de Lille")?
Are there any other works I should investigate prior to committing
myself to this project?
