You did not specify what, in your view, 'best-considered' means. Best
literal? Most faithful rendering of the spirit of the original? Most
polished English verse version?
There is a good literal rendering in the Penguin Book of Latin Verse
(1962), pp. 246-49. Hope this helps a bit.
