I was also put off, and wrote as such to their web-meister whose response
was:
"Thanks for taking the time to write. Over the next few issues, we will be
making some changes to the design of PreText Magazine so that it will work
better in a variety of screen resolutions and screen sizes. I hope you'll
continue to read it while we work to improve it."
