Dear eLibers
The CAIN (Conflict Archive on the Internet) web site passed another
milestone last week, when the number of _unique sites_ using the
resource passed the 1,200 mark for one week.
We all know the problems of using 'hits' as a measure of usage, but
even after taking out all the hits to .gif files, all the hits by the
CAIN staff, and the hits by the main search engines, the CAIN site
still recorded over 14,000 hits in one week.
If you haven't alread seen the site the address is:
http://cain.ulst.ac.uk
and you may be interested in the new site we've added for the Centre
for the Study of Conflict which contains details of, and extracts
from, all the Centre's publications:
http://cain.ulst.ac.uk/csc
Having patted myself on the back I will now get back to work.
Best wishes.
Martin Melaugh
