Issue 3 of *Internet Archaeology*, the electronic journal, is now
complete. The last paper to be added is Chris Snyder's
'A gazetteer of Sub-Roman Britain (AD 400-600): The British Sites'. It
can be found at:
http://intarch.ac.uk/journal/issue3/snyder_index.html
You will need to register to read the main body of the text - remember,
registration is FREE and carries no obligation.
Beware of downloading the whole gazetteer as it is a large file. The
gazetteer can be searched via a clickable map and classified index which
will lead to the serving up of only the text (and any accompanying
images) associated with the particular site you want to look at.
To round off the Issue, Dr Alan Vince's editorial can be found at:
http://intarch.ac.uk/journal/issue3/edit3.html
No password is needed.
In the next few months Issue 4 will be opened and we hope to include
papers by Michel Polfer & Jos Thiel on Gallo-Roman cremation
cemeteries in Luxembourg (which will be in both English and French) and M
Wansleeben and L B M Verhart on the Neolithization process in the south east
Netherlands which will be in English and Dutch. There will also be
further CD Rom reviews.
As ever, please post any comments on the content or presentation of the
papers to archaeology's electronic publishng email list:
