Position: Italian American Studies

Location: New York
Italian American Studies: Associate/Full Professor. This
teaching position at SUNY at Stony Brook for an Associate/Full
Professor with tenure will be effective September 1, 1998.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications/experience.
Duties will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
in Italian American studies and working closely with the Center
for Italian Studies by developing research and service projects
that have university-wide significance. An earned Ph.D.,
extensive teaching experience, and a substantial research record
are required. Candidates may come from any discipline and must
have national and international recognition for scholarship in
the field of Italian American studies. Appointment will be in an
academic department appropriate to the individual's discipline.
