You 'll find a lot of references -- I've not read...-- in "la
medecine dans l'encyclopedisme latin" of Bertrand Lancon, Sciences,
Techniques et Encyclopedies, Cahiers Diderot, n°5, Paradigme, 1993, p.
215-226. Good references to Oribasius, Theodorus Priscianus and Cassius
Felix, Isidor and Cassiodorus too...
