eLib projects,
Most/all of you have received a letter from Chris in Warwick about Dublin
Core, and how groovy it would be to implement said metadata into your
eLib project deliverable/Web pages.
We would like to draw your attention to the following, which may be of
use:
* Andy Powell will be writing an article for the Web version of Ariadne
Issue 10 describing the way in which Dublin Core can be embedded into
HTML Web pages and discussing three models for the way in which Dublin
Core can be managed across a Web-site.
This is due out about midweek next week from:
http://www.ariadne.ac.uk/issue10/
* DC dot, an experimental Dublin Core generator, is available at:
http://www.ukoln.ac.uk/metadata/dcdot/
* A list of Dublin Core related resources is available from:
http://www.ukoln.ac.uk/metadata/resources/dc.html
UKOLN will begin work on a Dublin Core FAQ in the near future. We would
encourage the use of the lis-elib-tech mailing list - see:
http://www.ukoln.ac.uk/services/elib/mailing-lists/
- to discuss issues related to the use of Dublin Core.
Andy.
