Doreen,
You may be interested in the evaluation report produced by Edinburgh
Engineering Virtual Library (EEVL). EEVL ( an Elib project under
the Access to Networked Resources) developed a pilot service
consisting of a WWW interface to a database of manually created
descriptions of engineering resources. This report describes an
evaluation of this pilot service with over 90 users. The report was
completed in September last year (EEVL is now fully operational...),
so it falls into your 12 months deadline.
The report can be found at :

Best wishes,
Linda Kerr
