Can anyone provide current information on user perception
and user needs with regard to electronic sources and
resources, products and services in connection with
their own programmes and projects?
This request is in conjunction with a JISC sponsored
project via the Working Group on User Behaviour,
a joint initiative of the Committees of Electronic
Information (CEI) and Awareness, Liaison and Training
(CALT). We are undertaking a synthesis of existing
information on use and users under the guidance of
Professor Joan Day of the University of Northumbria at
Newcastle.
We know that many projects have carried out user studies
in relation to their projects which could contribute to a better
understanding of current issues in the way the end user
and non-user behaves.
We are particularly interested in studies carried out in the
last 12 months.
