I just joined the list so excuse me if this has already
been suggested, but with the GEM project at Syracuse, we
are delimiting multiple terms in a keyword list (actually
multiples with any element) with the pipe symbol "|"
since I cannot ever remember using it in text. However,
I'm sure there are reasons it hasn't been suggested
already.
