I don't know why you call it a "screen" (I always felt that "page" was an
adequate descriptor, and seems fairly standard terminology), but I'd love
to see one with that much information on it. :)
I myself have always been in favor of more minimalistic pages--the best
feature of hypertext, in my mind, is that these very different resources
can all be linked together in many varied ways. By keeping different
elements clumped together on one page, the best feature of the web --
nonlinearity -- is lost, in my opinion. Of course, I've also seen sites
that combined many different types of content together quite effectively.
In any case, I see the web as a very promising palette to a new generation
of artists who use imagination and thought as their building materials.
