Ah, but just to be awkward, what do you do if the terms naturally include
colons? The reason I mention this is that we use colons as delimiters in
some internal files in our ROADS software and we did get bitten by just
this problem. For example a surprisingly large number of titles contain
colons. You'll need some sort of escaping mechanism for those, unless you
don't mind there being a teeny bit of ambiguity in your metadata.
