I would agree with you; but I thought that the "DC." notation was what
was agreed upon and is what is generated by the DC.dot CGI script etc.
Seeing as DC is supposed to be "core", I'd prefer to use
just "creator", "description", using schema when we want to be precise -
unless there is a danger of existing or upcoming common usage meaning
different things for some of the DC elements.
At present, I suspect some users include elements without really knowing
what they mean, which isn't a problem, though someone using, say, "date"
to mean date of original creation instead of "made available in its
present form" might create confusion for some Shakespeare texts !
