To the members of the list:
My students have three more questions, for those who wish to ponder
them and perhaps reply. I send them as they are written, with all the
fancy, creativity and occasionals slips to which students (and the rest
of us) are occasionally subject. Please do not allow implicit problems
in the construction of any of the questions to dissuade you from
tackling them if you are otherwise inclined to do so. But if you see a
problem, by all means point it out!
Teresa Peterson writes, "What is one major characteristic of
Christianity that distinguished it from the other religions of the
Middle Ages?"
Carla Woodward writes, "Though the Middle AGes is looked at as a time of
poverty and violence, what features helped make it an actual time of
creativity and inspiration? Why have these creative innovations reminaed
until today?"
Melanie Mobley writes, "Describe what you think is the single most
important factor and the most important condition which plunged the
Medieval Church into crisis during the period 1000 to 1400."
