I am at the University of Texas in Austin. My alma Mater is the University
of Pisa (Comparative Languages and Literatures). I have taught for many
years, Italian Language, Literature and History of the Theatre. I am also
the Curator of Italian Collections at the Harry Ransom Humanities Research
Center, which cover a period of five centuries, from a manuscript of the
Comedia of 1363, to the manuscript of Carlo Levi"s Cristo si e' fermato a
Eboli" (1944). Presently I am working on a book/catalog of our Aldine
Collection, some 900 incunabula and books published by Aldus Manutius and
heirs. For information on these collections you may order the catalogue:
"Italian Collections across the centuries, Literature, Art and Theatre"
Italain issue of the Library Chronicle, Volume 23, nos, 2/3. AAIS members
receive a 50% discount on the $20.00 price. Write to: Harry Ransom
Humanities Research Center/P.O.Drawer 7219/The University of Texas at
Austin/Austin, Texas 78713-7219. I am trying to find a way to put the
Italian collections on a WEB site. Do you have such a program? M.X. Wells
