As regards dissemination, we are about to distribute around
5000 (free) copies of a CD ROM into the chemical community,
and will probably have one more stab at this sort of thing in 1998.
The CD ROM contains some generic technology, such as the HyperWave
Java applet that gives Netscape part of the functionality of Harmony/Amadeus,
and the XML/CML dtd development (for those of you who have not
seen it, XML is the extensible markup language project started by the
W3C, of which apparently CML is a "paradigmic" example.
We would be delighted to consider perhaps the 1998 effort in
conjunction with any other e-journal project, although since we
are the only one in molecular science, careful thought on how
to do this would be needed. Perhaps the SuperJournal
might wish to comment?
